Danskin was my first race, and you summed it up nicely! It was an awesome experience, but VERY hot. You did awesome! I'm debating about signing up again this year.... :) You in? ;)
That was a great race report! I wonder if the black suit didn't add to the intense heat? What happened to the pretty blue one from the first tri? One water stop during the run? Insane, especially when it's 95 degrees! But you did it! Yay!
I debated wearing the black 2-piece because of the heat, but the blue 1-piece was such a nightmare in the first race (Imagine needing to pee repeatedly, in a porta-potty, wearing what amounts to an industrial strength full-body girdle. And it's wet.) I wanted to be able to use the facilities this time around. They didn't have the blue 2-piece in my size so I got stuck w/ black.
